Nature Rx Program

Ohio State NatureRx program (Est. 2019) 

NatureRx at Ohio State was started after graduate student Everly Jazi approached the Office of the President and the Office of Student Life to start a nature prescription program in 2019. Currently this program is working to implement prescription protocols in the university's Student Health Services and Counseling and Consultation Services programs. The Wellness Center, Outdoor Adventure Center and Chadwick Arboretum are partners in the program formation process as well. The Ohio State NatureRx program is in the process of developing a working group made up by representatives of these student health branches, as well as faculty and staff with an interest in access to nature's healing power for all.
